About DDAC - Our Objectives

Operate community enterprises and help build a strong financial base for community development activities and infrastructure.

#2:

Promote community development by acting as a resource for the community and stakeholders in the areas of education, employment and culture to the community.

#3:

Protect Aboriginal cultural heritage within Duduroa Country and deliver Cultural Awareness training, cultural workshops, cultural camps, talks and a cultural centre.

#4:

Protect the environment in Duduroa Country and ensure the health of the land and waterways, including cultural burning.

#5:

Build strong relationships with non-Aboriginal governments and agencies to join forces in the protection and enhancement of Duduroa Country and peoples.

#6:

Maintain strong relationships and communication with neighbours to Duduroa Country, and wherever possible work together with them to achieve mutual benefits.

Empower youth and the next generation by building a strong, self-determining and self-governing nation.

#8:

Maintain a strong membership base that is inclusive of Traditional Custodians and all Aboriginal people, as well as trusted and respected members of the non-Aboriginal community, for the enjoyment of all.

To build a strong economic development base providing jobs, employment opportunities and training to Aboriginal people.
